GOOGLE PAY BUDGET
UX RESEARCH, UX DESIGN, VISUAL DESIGN, PROTOTYPING
'Budget' is a new feature imagined for the Google Pay app which allows for users to compartmentalise and distribute their monthly income into wallets. Wallets let users choose how much money the user would like to allot for certain tasks or activities. The idea that a budgeting app would help, came from a personal need to budget without the expensive journey of hiring a CA. Integrating the feature within Google Pay makes budgeting a more practical and doable task. The feature aims to fulfill the needs of individuals, helping them save up for a goal.

Task 3
Task 4
Ask user to select one of the budgeted options
Ask user to make a payment using the budget wallet
Users found the option of keeping the budget without dividing their money helpful. Users thought the feature will be more utilised if it blends in with the other features as compared to if it is a starred option. Some users thought rearranging 'add/remove money' button placement would be helpful so that there are no accidental touches. All users thought adding the feature in the quick actions was usable and easy to learn.
